What is Recycling?

Recycling is the process of converting waste materials into new materials and objects. It is a means to preserve the environment and also to ensure that the wastage culture is curbed. It is important to note that waste products in whatever form has its own effect on the ecology. In a bid to curtail the effect waste as on land and every other ecological creature, recycling is encouraged.

Recycling is very important to modern day waste reduction. Recycling is also synonymous to Reuse, reduce. Thus, recycling aims at environmental sustainability by substituting raw materials inputs into and redirecting waste outputs out of the economic system.
